December 1944 Rank:  Seaman 2nd class (see ranks section)

Life After WWII:  Sold auto parts for two auto companies (Chrysler) in New Braunfels, Texas.  After retiring from that job, he lived on Rust Ranch in Spring Branch, Texas, and was in the cattle business for a short while.  He liked to bowl, fish and hunt.
