Navy Service: Spent 2 years in the North Atlantic & 2 years in the South Pacific during WWII.
Life After WWII: Worked most of his life in sawmills as a sawyer and worked in the largest spruce mill in the world. He had been superintendent of mills in both Washington & Oregon. He retired from Summit Timber in Darrington, WA after 15 years of service. He then worked for Burns Security International for 5 years.
